When keeping it real goes wrong … James “Jimmy Henchman” Rosemond was sentenced to a second life sentence plus 20 years today for the 2009 murder of G-Unit affiliate Lowell “Lodi Mack” Fletcher.
Jimmy, who is already serving life for cocaine trafficking, was convicted for his role in Fletcher’s death at a December trial in Manhattan.
The murder appears to have been payback for Tony Yayo assaulting Rosemond’s then-14-year-old son in 2007. The former rap executive had made two failed attempts at revenge, including a drive-by shooting outside Hot 97 offices, before paying off Brian “Slim” McCleod with a “slab” of cocaine worth $30,000 to lure Fletcher to a Bronx street corner in September 2009 where fellow thug Derrick “D” Grant pumped bullets into Fletcher, according to the NY Post.
Here’s the crazy thing …. Henchman was once the head of the rap music management company Czar Entertainment and has represented artists like The Game and Akon.
