There’s been no formal confirmation, but Kanye West might have a new gig. According to published reports, he may be working with the upcoming WGN America series Underground.
Deadline.com reports that the rapper is in talks to work on the music side of the project, which will focus on the Underground Railroad.
The 10-episode series will focus on a set of slaves from Georgia trying to escape their plantation and find freedom. They seek help from a couple who are secretly abolitionists. The show would be slated for a 2016 premiere.
