After a 17 year hiatus, the 2015 NBA All-Star Game returned to New York City’s Madison Square Game for the first-time since 1998.
Christina Aguilera, a native of Staten Island, opened the festivities with a tribute of classics dedicated to the Big Apple such as “New York, New York,” “On Broadway,” “Living for the City,” and “New York State of Mind.”
Fellow NY-native and legend Nas joined her on stage to perform his Illmatic-classic “N.Y. State of Mind.”
