When you’re happy with your choices in life, it doesn’t matter what the haters think.
Rihanna caused quite a stir when she walked the red carpet of the Grammys this year – just as the carpet closed – decked in a pink couture gown by Giambattista Valli. The gown donned a silk corset top with two rows of embroidery over a skirt of yards and yards of tulle.
“I saw this dress on the Internet and I just fell in love with it,” Rihanna (pictured, above) told Ryan Seacrest.
The frilly number instantly became the target of countless memes, but the fashion gods totally disagreed that it was a fashion miss.
Elle, InStyle, Glamour and Time Magazine have all crowned her the best dressed of the night.
My two-cents: She looked lovely and her happiness with her choice was clear on her face. Moral of the story… do you boo boo and F what the haters think.
