I don’t think being a celebrity and role model are synonymous. Many celebs are young so I think we should all be honest in understanding they’re trying to figure this thing called life out as well. BUT I also don’t think that going out of your way to promote activities that are obviously bad are best practice either.
in the latest issue of Rolling Stone mag she says, “I think weed is the best drug on the earth…One time I smoked a joint with peyote in it, and I saw a wolf howling at the moon.”
“Hollywood is a coke town, but weed is so much better. And molly, too. Those are happy drugs — social drugs. They make you want to be with friends. You’re out in the open. You’re not in a bathroom.”
“I really don’t like coke. It’s so gross and so dark. It’s like, what are you, from the ’90s? Ew,” she added.
Excuse me??? (Clutches pearls.) No ma’am. Drugs are still bad. It’s not okay to say you pop Mollys. That’s not cool. Despite the lyrics in songs, even emcees feel a little shame to admit they pop them. Suddenly people start stuttering when asked point blank. Not this girl though. SMH. When will this train wreck stop?
BTW – I know in Miley’s mind her style is authentic, but she just comes across as a fake Rihanna to me – the hair, the clothes, even the jewelry. It is what it is.
