It seems like I’m always writing about these two (Chris Brown & Rihanna), but they’re everywhere. Not only that, they’re extremely polarizing. Whether you love them or hate them, the draw-in is that each situation is even more surprising than the last.
Today’s scenario … I’ll give you the highlights. So Chris attended the “Stars and Strikes” celebrity bowling and poker tournament in L.A. which benefited the organization A Place Called Home for under-served youth. Inside, the word is that he was on his best behavior. Outside was a different story.
He rose to level 100 when he was asked to pay $10 for a 30 minute visit. In his mind, this was highway robbery. In a video obtained by TMZ, he’s heard saying “give me my f—ing keys.” At one point, his bodyguards had to step in between Chris and the valet attendants. Eventually, someone in Chris’ entourage tried to diffuse the situation by saying “We got the money … don’t worry about it.” Not sure if they ended up paying, but Chris did leave with his car. Oh… and a side-note. He looked a little drunk to me. #IJS.
Now, I do believe we beat up on this guy a little too much, (even wrote about it) but on the flip-side he spoon feeds the material to us. A $10 shouting match for someone on probation … really?
I hate to project bad thoughts on anyone, but he’s on his way to jail. This kid has no idea that he’s on probation. I thought the fundamental idea of probation is that you need to be on your best behavior and abide by the law during the duration of your stint. That would mean that as a millionaire, although you believe $10 is excessive for $30 minutes, you go ahead and pay because the alternative could be detrimental to your freedom. (Freedom being key word). Furthermore, I’m sure the $10 wasn’t in fine print. Since when has valet been by the minute?
SMH … You want to like this kid but you just can’t.
(oh, and I’m not even mentioning his recent club rant aimed at rapper Drake and how he left his infamous bodyguard Big Pat in Bermuda after a big blow-up. I will spare you all the post)
