In the latest Adidas ad, celebs Pharrell, Rita Ora, David Beckham and Damian Lillard tear down the misconceptions of being a superstar.
Negating that superstardom has anything to do with, selling out concerts, people knowing your name or having a fanbase, the four celebs bring the dramatic effect in the black-and-white visual.
“When the Superstar shoe was first launched by adidas back in 1969, the word ‘Superstar’ was unambiguous,” a description of the video reads. “Today, the word has been corrupted to the point of confusion. This year adidas Originals sets out to question what it means to be a superstar, beginning with this film featuring Pharrell Williams, David Beckham, Rita Ora and Damian Lillard.”
