Surprise, surprise (not really) … J.Cole’s third studio album – 2014 Forest Hills Drive – debuts at no. 1. on Billboard.
According to HDD (Hits Daily Double website), Cole moved 361,120 copeis topping Taylor Swift’s latest project, 1989.
The success comes with no assistance of a marketing plan (which of course is a form of marketing, but I digress).
This makes Cole’s third number one album and the highest selling of his freshmen debut J.Cole: The Sideline Story and 2013’s Born Sinner.
