A hungarian singer is suing Beyoncé, Jay Z and Timbaland for allegedly using her voice without permission in the hit song “Drunk In Love.”
Monika Miczura Juhasz, known as Mitsou, claims in a Manhattan civil suit the track samples a song Juhasz recorded in 1995 with her folk ensemble Ando Drom called “Bajba, Bajba Pélem.”
Mitsou is reportedly seeking unspecified damages in the rights of publicity case. The suit also demands an end to distribution of the song.
My two-cent: Good luck with that.
