Nas is going behind-the-camera for an upcoming documentary that’ll focus on fashion in Hip Hop.
Titled “Fresh Dressed,” the Sacha Jenkins-directed project is set to premiere at the Sundance Film Festival next year and on CNN. The doc will also feature guest spots from the industry’s heavyweights on the musical side and clothing corporation including Kanye West, Dame Dash, Riccardo Tischi, and Andre Leon Tally.
The movie will start off “with slavery and ends with what is being rocked today–and what the social implications attached to it all are.”
This marks the Queensbridge native’s first time as a producer for a full-length visual project in collaboration with Mass Appeal.
