Well this -ish is just getting messy.
When the Rich Gang posse of Birdman, Young Thug, and Rich Homie Quan stopped by HOT 97’s Funk Flex Show on Monday night, of course Flex had to ask about the Tyga/ Drake tension.
Surprisingly (sarcasm), Birdman maintains he did not see the recent drama coming and still hasn’t got down to the bottom of it. He goes on to praise Tyga calling him his “little bro,” but reveals he hasn’t heard his recent single to hit airwaves.
He goes on to add that while he respects Tyga, Drake is in a different league of his own. “My intake is, I’m family orientated….either you’re in or you’re out. If you’re out, you’re an outcast. If you’re in, you’re family.”
My two-cents: Well this interview was very eye opening. It was all of 5 minutes, but 2 minutes in, the situation is clear. Drake and Nicki are the faves in that camp. Tyga, we like you, but you can bend one and the team will not bat an eye. While he praised Drake’s 3 heaters he dropped over the weekend, he had yet to hear Tyga’s one track. And with all the hoopla going on, Birdman went on to claim he hasn’t gotten to the bottom of things. (blank stare) I like to think I’m a business woman. Yet, I know there’s no business without the people. So if my people have issues, my business has issues. Tyga is in a bad situation. He needs out. They have no interest in him.
