Damn CeeLo. TBS has pulled the plug on his reality show “The Good Life.”
According to Spin, the unscripted reality show was slated to film CeeLo’s Green’s hectic life. TBS’ decision to cancel the show starring former coach of The Voice comes on the heels of Green’s controversial Tweet regarding rape.
“People who have really been raped REMEMBER!!!” he Tweeted.
Not sure what started this dialogue, but the tweets come after CeeLo pled no contest to a felony count of furnishing ecstasy to a woman. CeeLo has maintained his innocence since the inception of the suit.
TBS has not confirmed the cancellation of the show is related to the tweets, but the women’s rights group Ultraviolet demanded TBS pull the show from its network urging “rapists and rape-apologists should have no place in your lineup.”
CeeLo has since deleted his Twitter account.
My two-cents: Damn. CeeLo what was you thinking bruh? You pulling an O.J. Simpson on Twitter by questioning a controversial case you beat. No bueno. Here are two things that can not happen without a shit storm. Non-blacks can’t say the N-word in public and no one can question rape. Take a break and get it together. You seem like a good dude.
