Congrats are in order for Ashlee Simpson and Evan Ross. The two were married in a private ceremony on Sunday (Aug. 31) at the home of Evan’s mother, Diana Ross, in Greenwich, Conn.
Ashlee Simpson’s maid of honor was her sister, Jessica Simpson. , according to E! Ashlee and Ross went public with their relationship in July 2013 and Ross popped the big question earlier this year in January.
Many people may remember Evan from the movie ATL where he played the younger brother of rapper T.I. Next year, he will co-star in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay — Part 1, the third installment of the blockbuster franchise.
Ashlee shares a 5-year-old son with Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz, whom she divorced in 2011 after three years of marriage. Ashlee’s last album, Bittersweet World (which was actually pretty good), was released in 2008.
