So last night while rapper Kendrick Lamar was performing at Williamsburg Park in Brooklyn, he shared a few thoughts on the hoopla sparked by his “Control” verse. Aimed at Meek Mill, who recently took a few shots with his track “Ooh Kill Em,” Kendrick let fans know he was not concerned with “irrelevant” and “new” rappers. Watch below.
It didn’t take long for Meek to catch wind of the performance and he responded via twitter.

Incidentally, Meek Mill is in New York promoting Maybach Music Group’s upcoming album Self Made Vol. 3. He stopped by Power 105.1 this morning and let the Breakfast Club know that his beef would stay on wax.
