Well we all saw this coming but we didn’t quite know when the shoe would drop. Trinidad Jame$ has been dropped from Def Jam. But that wasn’t the surprising part.
The surprise came from Jame$ himself when he posted the announcement on Twitter.
I should tell yall. I got dropped by the Label. My Album is now free. If u hear ur beat or verse on it. I hope u want dap cuz i got no money

Not only has he been dropped but he admitted he has no money.
Surprisingly, Trinidad never released his debut album off Def Jam. Instead he dropped two mixtapes – Don’t be S.A.F.E. and 10 PC Mild. His exit follows the release of his track “Rap Game Just Too Funny” on which he launched complaints about music executives.
First of all “d*mn.” Secondly, that’s some trill -ish to announce. I’m all about that real and I hope he gets back on his feet. I never thought he would play a major role in hip-hop, but I never found him that terrible. There’s a list of people I actually find intolerable before his name even pops up. (I know that sounds like a back handed compliment, but I really didn’t find him to be bad.) Best wishes to this brother getting on his feet.
