Congrats to Bruno Mars who was named Sunday to headline Super Bowl XLVIII, which will kick off on Feb. 2 at the MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J. Bruno Mars After the announcement about Mars, the R&B singer tweeted, “WE’RE GOING TO THE SUPER BOWL!!!!!!! #PepsiSBHalftime,” and then “Hooligans we did it!” (Hooligans is the name of his band.) Super Bowl XLVIII will be played in an open-air stadium this year so the weather could make for an interesting game. in an area vulnerable to snow and ice, which could make for an exciting, or at least unusual, game. Bruno is a good choice. Great singer. Big cross-over appeal.

Defunct rapper Gucci Mane set off a Twitter storm when he verbally assaulted, Drake, Young Jeezy, Nicki Minaj, Rocko, Tiny, Fantasia, Keyshia Cole, Blac Chyna, Ciara and the dictionary. Most of his allegations were sexual in nature. If I were a betting woman, I would suspect that little to none of his comments had any truth. It looks like those who did respond kept their responses brief – which is good.
