The new track, titled “Heavy Metal and Reflective,” was produced by Lil Internet and is expected to be included on her long-delayed debut album, Broke With Expensive Taste.
The track will be released globally on July 29.
Months before her departure, she practically was begging to go. At the time, she revealed she was “tired of having to consult a group of old white guys about [her] black girl craft.”
Not really my cup of tea, but if this keeps her off her normal Twitter rants… I suppose its cool.
