Police are still investigating a shooting that took place after Nas and Schoolboy Q’s concert at the Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Denver on Thursday night (Jun. 19).
“This is not just a coincidence. We think there is probably more to it than that,” Jacki Kelley, a spokeswoman for the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office said. “It does seem to be more targeted than random.”
Schoolboy Q was among the passengers in the vehicle that was opened fire upon during the shooting. Q did not sustain any injuries, but three members of his entourage were hit. All are in stable condition.
In an event that may or may not be connected to the shooting, Q was involved in an altercation during his last appearance in Denver back in March. After an audience member threw an object onto the stage at the Odgen Theatre, Q jumped into the crowd, according to The Denver Post.
No arrests have been made.
