August Alsina stopped by Hot 97 to talk candidly about industry beef, his 106 melt-down, and XXL Freshman pick.
He definitely makes for an interesting interview … but – for me – he’s a great example of when keeping it real goes wrong. I don’t think keeping it real means you no longer have discernment of right and wrong behavior. Tact and respect shouldn’t be lost in an effort to be real. The two can exist. He seems bothered by the bad press but still not bothered enough to take a look in the mirror. That’s bad. SMH….
