Artists know what’s going on in the world so it should be no surprise that they weigh in on current events. Of course all the buzz now is around Clippers owner Don Sterling who allegedly said discriminatory remarks about African Americans recently.
Within the past day, rappers like Snoop Dogg, Lil Wayne and Meek Mill have posted heated responses to Sterling’s comments online (watch below). President Barack Obama even chimed in, calling the reported comments “incredibly offensive racist statements” during a news conference on Sunday with Malaysia’s prime minister.
Donald sterling is the definition of racism …. He could b your judge…. Your doctor…..you teacher etc… I bet nothing happens 2 him!

“If I was a Clipper fan, I wouldn’t be one anymore. It’s that simple,” says Lil Wayne, an avid sports fan. But if I was a Clipper player, a current Clipper player, you wouldn’t see me on the court anymore in that uniform.”
Many people are calling for the team to boycott. Not so sure I agree with that. Winning a championship has been a dream of many of these players way before they knew who Don was. Should they let Don interfere with that goal? IDK. That’s a tough call.
