How long has Drake been winning now? I lose track.
Yesterday, Drake announced he’s hosting this year’s ESPY Awards, ESPN’s annual sports award show.
The event will take place July 16 at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in Los Angeles and will of course air on ESPN.
In a statement from the network, Drake called the gig an “incredible opportunity for me to combine two of my biggest passions — sports and performing.”
“Drake is an unbelievably talented entertainer who truly has a passion for sports. We are thrilled to have him to host this year’s show,” said Connor Schell, a vp at ESPN who oversees the ESPYs.
In January, Drake showed off his comedy skills when he hosted “Saturday Night Live.” So hopefully he does just as well. This is a whole new ballgame.
