Rihanna & Justin Timberlake Lead iHeart Nominations

Rihanna and Justin Timberlake lead the finalists for the first iHeartRadio Music Awards, set to air May 1 on NBC from the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles.

Riri landed seven total entries in five categories, including artist of the year, song of the year and best collaboration. Meanwhile, Justin has five entires in four categories, including artist and song of the year.

Nominees for the awards were based on results from the newly introduced iHeartRadioChart, which compiles airplay-based listener feedback and performance data, digital streaming data from the iHeartRadio platform and sales, social video data and

tags from Big Champagne and Shazam. The data was compiled by Mediabase based on data from the past 12 months.
