He may not have taken home a Grammy this year, but Drake nabbed the 2014 “Woodie of the Year” award at the mtvU Woodie Awards held at the South by Southwest festival.
Drake is currently on the European leg of his Would You Like A Tour? so his boss – Lil Wayne – accepted the award on his behalf.
Other winners included Chance the Rapper, who won the “Best Video Woodie” for his video “Everybody’s Something” and Beyoncé, who nabbed the very first “Did It My Way Woodie.”
