Like a thief in the night, Nike dropped the highly anticipated Air Yeezy II “Red October” kicks Sunday afternoon (Feb 9).
They became available for purchase on the company’s website this afternoon (Feb. 9) at 1 p.m. Making the announcement via Twitter, the shoe sold out in 11 minutes. (Wow … what a colossal testament to Kanye’s star power. Nike should have paid that man.)

As we remember, Kanye left Nike in December in a huff that he didn’t get decent royalties from Nike because he’s “not a professional athlete.” Now of course, he’s with Adidas.
