Carrie Fever. I’ve got a thing for personalized necklaces. It’s a huge throwback from the 80s and Carrie Bradshaw from Sex and the City used to rock it quit often. Have I mentioned I heart Carrie? I found this particular necklace on Instagram and the business is legit. So this necklace actually uses a plate. It’s a small business run by a young lady. It’s nothing fancy. Gold filled which makes it appropriately priced at $85. Do we love it? Is it too simple or chintzy? Let me know.
Return of the Mec. So here is some juicy gossip….to me anyway. James Lipton….the 86-year-old who hosts the “Actor’s Studio” used to be a pimp. ***GASP*** Who knew???? Go James!!!! Well maybe pimp is not the right word. I think he described himself as a “mec.” And in case you’re wondering what the difference is between a pimp and a mec…”A pimp exploits and abuses the women who work for him,” he said. “Mecs “didn’t exploit women. They represented them, like agents.” HA!!! Sounds like semantics Jamesy-poo. So he supposedly gained this role in the 1950s (whoaaa…I digressed) when he formed a platonic relationship with a prostitute name Regine. Does anyone else like James more?
LeAnn Rimes Reveals She Made some Bad Choices. Big sigh… I am so sick of LeAnn Rimes speaking on how sorry she is about her affair. (Eye-roll). This is what I believe… I truly believe LeAnn feels remorseful and I believe she’s ashamed of her actions. But like the old adage goes ‘If you live long enough, you’ll find yourself doing things you thought you’d never do.’ (or maybe I just made that up) It happens. Right or wrong, affairs happen. People sometimes get caught up in the fairytale moment of it all. Some people will never forgive LeAnn for her indiscretions and that’s life. What I wish is that she would forgive herself. This constant self-mutilation is just something I don’t care to hear about ever again.
