Rapper Tyga may have to get out his check book. A judge has ordered him to pay over $200,000 for gold and diamond jewelry that he allegedly never returned to the jeweler.
TMZ reports that in September 2013, Tyga was sued by famed Beverly Hills jeweler, Jason, who claimed the Young Money rapper had not paid for $91,000 worth of bling. Jason alleges that Tyga agreed to drop $28,275 for the jeweler’s diamond pantheon watch back in August 2012. He also claims that he borrowed a $63,000 diamond Cuban link chain in December 2012 and never returned the piece. A judge has sided with the jeweler ordering Tyga come up off a grand total of $208,334.47, which includes late fees. (Whew!)
Tyga tried downplaying the story when the lawsuit was filed, tweeting, “I don’t f*k with #bitchn**gas @jasonofbh” Wonder how he feels now.
Tyga’s rep insists this is “all a misunderstanding” and claims they’re working to rectify the issue.
Luckily big money Tyga can afford it…especially after coping that new Maybach.
