So last night at the Raptors’ “Drake Night,” the emcee introduced a new nod to fashion. Although he spent most of the night donned in the official black and gold OVO/ Raptors shirt given to fans, he was a little more dapper during the press conference that opened the night.
He came dressed in a slate colored ensemble – suit and button down. But it didn’t stop there. Nope.
His suit jacket was lined with a retro Vince Carter Raptors jersey. I definitely recall Vince having issues w/ the Raptors’ president but that’s neither here nor there. The point is simple. Men, don’t do this. This is cute (and possibly appropriate) on Aubrey for “Drake Night,” not in real life. Nothing’s more attractive on a man than a suit. But when the lining is the main attraction, it really takes away from a nice outfit.
