Isn’t this interesting? Minister Louis Farrakhan of the Nation of Islam has stood up for Kanye West.
It all started when ‘Ye appeared on The Breakfast Club and proclaimed: “black people don’t have the same level of connections as Jewish people,” causing an backlash from the Jewish Anti-Defamation League. The ADL’s outraged National Director, Abraham H. Foxman asked for an apology from West, claiming his remarks are “offensive” and represents “classic anti-semitism” by reinforcing the cultural stereotype that wealthy Jewish citizens are “all-powerful and control the levers of power in government.”
Well it seems Minister Farrakhan had spoken.
In Farrakhan’s own words: “You know what Mr. Foxman? I wish you and I could have a dialogue. You wouldn’t put that small time stuff over on me that you put on scared to death negroes, that if they mention Jew and you call them anti-semitic they start bowing to you and your pressure. Kanye West don’t bow to the pressure to apologize to anybody. You said nothing wrong.”
