Shortly after XXXTentacion killed in Florida last week, his mother revealed that the 20-year-old rapper was expecting a child.
With that news in mind, Lil Uzi Vert went on Twitter Tuesday afternoon (June 26) and asked for help starting a foundation “to make sure his child and family are well taken care.”
Asking for help from celebrities, he added, “I don’t care if you didn’t know him he is part of the hip hop / rock community.” Uzi also said that the foundation would help “young entertainers” that die from gun violence.
Soon after Uzi put out the call on social media, Nicki Minaj responded.
Been speaking to @xxxtentacion family. I want to start a fund/foundation to make sure his child and family are well taken care of not just temporary but for life.
I don’t care if you didn’t know him he is part of the hip hop / rock community I NEED HELP from celebrities Please.
