A union between J. Cole and Lil Pump may be on the way.
The last song on J. Cole’s newly released album KOD, “1985,” finds a contemplative Cole dishing out gems to rap’s younger generation, and many believed it was aimed directly at Lil Pump, who in turn fired back with “Fuck J. Cole.” However, a recently surfaced video revealed that Cole and Pump actually had a sit-down at Rolling Loud earlier this month and the full interview is expected to hit the internet very soon.
In a short clip, Pump is explaining a situation that involved a gun, presumably his arrest in January when he was arrested for firing off a gun in his San Fernando Valley home. “The weed shit,” Pump told Cole. “[It] smelled like weed in the house. He just got tired of that shit…So we started arguing and I told him the same shit like, ‘Bro, you’re fucking bombing,’ and he got mad. He tried to fight me and shit and that’s when I pulled the strap out on him.”
Cole followed up by asking, “Is that something you planned earlier?” before the interview got cut off.
