Last week Ashanti stopped by Hot 97 and sat down with Ebro and Laurastylez to talk about her new EP – Braveheart. But of course Ebro kept it 100 and asked some pretty tough questions. Thank you Ebro because FINALLY … She came clean about her relationship with Nelly.
This chick ducked and dodged for nine years about her relationship. The video is below, but here’s a snippet:
Are you guys [Nelly] back together again?
Negative. Nelly and I are kind of in the space where, I’m kinda like focusing on my career, he’s focusing on what he’s doing, you know there’s a lot of things that happened this year, you know a lot of things kinda went public more than other things have gone public before, you know what I’m saying? I kinda just…I have to do me. Um, we’re in that space right now and there were things that were said and things that were done, that probably shouldn’t have been said or done, but they have been.
On your part, his part, or both?
Probably both. Probably both.
She also talks Irv Gotti and if she has a sugar daddy keeping up her lifestyle. I love this Ashanti interview. She was candid without being spiteful.
