Kodak Black may be out of jail as early as October.
According to court records, Kodak has pleaded guilty to two probation violations, including driving on a suspended license and “associating with people committing crimes.” In return, all other violation charges were dropped. The other charges, including child neglect, that were connected to a police raid on his home, were also dropped.
He was sentenced to 364 days in county jail, but with 90 days time served, he could be out by October. Upon his release, he will reportedly be off probation.
Kodak was arrested and charged with multiple felonies after an Instagram Live broadcast showed a young child in the vicinity of marijuana and a handgun. Kodak’s laywers later argued that there was no evidence that the guns and drugs in the video were real. Initial charges of grand theft of a firearm, child neglect, and possession of a weapon by a delinquent were all dropped earlier this year.
