Well Justin Timberlake gave music lovers a free gift on Black Friday when he dropped the remix to his 20/20 Experience 2 of 2 single, “TKO” which features J. Cole, A$AP Rocky and Pusha T.
But … It’s J.Cole’s verse that has everyone talking. Borrowing the flow from the “Versace” remix, Cole takes a little jab at Kendrick Lamar’s “Control” verse.
“Thought you was a down ass b-tch / Til I found that sh-t a couple days ago / I was home alone, next thing I know / That long a-s verse from a song called “Control” was on / The room got nearer, the tomb got clearer / That’s when I seen the sh-t playin’ on your phone / Girl, what is that? A ringtone? / Sh-t, not you too / Man that hype done got you too / Everybody and their momma gassed / Even my momma asked what I’mma do / Decisions, decisions / In case this is war, then I load up on all ammunition / If a n-gga want problems, my trigger’s on auto / I’ll make sure that nobody miss him/ Now pack up your shit, you don’t believe in me/ I don’t need you, I got me, bitch/ Same nigga moved to NYC, bitch/ Got a record deal and a college degree, bitch/ Two gold plaques, I produced all the tracks/ And I never ever ever leave no Jay Z, bitch/ And after all that achievement/ Real nigga never even went and got his teeth fixed/ Now you try to play me, bitch?/ I’ll knock your ass out”

Whew …
Too bad, we already know how this story ends. Cole & Kendrick are pretty good friends so not too much will come from this.
Once you get past all of that, A$AP Rocky follows addressing his comments about dark skinned girls that got him in a world of trouble (here’s the comment that got in a little trouble: “dark skinned girls shouldn’t wear red lipstick comment”) and Pusha T.
