Joey Bada$$ Named First Creative Director of Streetwear Brand PONY

Brooklyn rapper Joey Bada$$ has been named the first-ever creative director of New York street wear and sneaker brand PONY.

Joey has released a footwear capsule for his first project at the creative helm, dropping a collection of bright-colored, suede sneakers drawn from the silhouette of the original PONY shoe.

“It’s pure synergy. This is some classic, authentic, vibe: that’s how I feel,” he said in a statement. “I am a ‘Product of New York’ and I plan to keep bringing my inspirations and background to PONY naturally.”
