Chance the Rapper and Jeremih Are Back Spreading Christmas Cheer

So last Christmas, Chance the Rapper and Jeremih spread the holiday cheer by dropping Merry Christmas Lil’ Mama on Soundcloud. This year, the duo is back with a deluxe edition of the classic featuring additional songs for their festive fans.

Chance posted a teaser video on his social media accounts Friday (Dec. 15) to promote the project. The scene opens with Jeremih on the keys while a deep voice muses, “Well it’s that time of year again and you know what that means: Merry Christmas Lil’ Mama.” The clip is right out of a cheesy ‘90s CD commercial, with bright graphics and a grainy visual that feels like it was recorded with a camcorder.
