Meek Mill’s misdemeanor assault charges have been dropped,TMZ reports.
Back in March, Meek was involved in an altercation with two airport employees asking for a picture with him at the St. Louis International Airport. The incident resulted in the artist being hit with misdemeanor assault charges. On Monday (Oct. 23), the 30-year-old had the case thrown out. According to TMZ, who spoke with Meek’s lawyer Joe Tacopina, the charges will be dropped if the rapper performs the number of community service hours agreed to in the deal.
One of the airport victims explained the situation, “I was like, ‘What’s up, Meek? Can I get a pic?’ He was like ‘nah,’ and I was just like ‘how y’all do us like this and we the fans, and y’all don’t show us love? You too good to speak?”
The exchange didn’t go over too well with Meek’s camp, which then led to the altercation.
