Well this is quite interesting. Despite all the bad press Hov has been getting, he has one support in sculptor, Daniel Edwards. Daniel specializes in provocative depictions of celebrities. For Kim Kardashian, he created a nude statue of the pregnant reality star titled “L.A. Fertility.” And for Jay Z, he has created a stature of the rapper surrounded by Care Bears titled “Jay Z Cares and Shares.”
“Jay Z is an entertainer, not a civil rights activist,” Edwards said in a press release. He added that part of the proceeds from the line Jay Z is selling at Barneys go to his Shawn Carter Scholarship Foundation.
“He defended future college funds by standing up to the criticism,” Edwards continued.
Visitors of the exhibit housing the Kim Kardashian statue were encouraged to rub the replica’s belly for good luck. Wonder what people who view the Care Bears are supposed to do.
