Welp, is it still Rihanna’s fault or will people finally admit that this guy has issues he needs to own?
At a probation status meeting in L.A. today, Judge James Brandlin ordered Chris to complete another 90 days of residential rehab and submit to periodic drug testing.
What we didn’t know is that Breezy didn’t voluntarily leave a week ago. He got kicked out of anger management rehab after he threw a rock through his mom’s car window, sources told the Daily News.
The judge also said Chris must continue to chip away at his previous community labor requirement at a pace of 24 hours per week. No more fooling around with that. Judge Brandlin gave Chris an additional 1,000 hours of community labor in August after prosecutors accused Brown of failing to properly log the initial six months of community labor in his original Rihanna sentence.
One more thing … he was ordered to take all medications prescribed by his treating physicians and stay in Los Angeles County during his time in the program.
Prosecutors did not seek immediate jail time over the incident, rather they asked for a supplemental report on Brown’s recent assault arrest in Washington D.C.
Remember Chris checked into rehab voluntarily on Oct. 29 after cops arrested him on suspicion of breaking a man’s nose outside if a hotel.
The Deputy District Attorney on the case said her side was reserving the right to seek a probation violation hearing after seeing the supplemental D.C. report.
Chris has pleaded not guilty and faces up to 180 days in jail if convicted. If the D.C. case goes to trial, it would be decided by a judge since D.C. courts don’t use juries for misdemeanor cases.
The new allegations aren’t the first to plague Chris since 2009.
He allegedly destroyed property during a backstage temper tantrum on the set of ABC’s “Good Morning America” in 2011.
Last January, we all remember he clashed with Frank Ocean at a recording studio.
SMH. I def think people tried to give Chris the benefit of the doubt, but he is his own worst enemy. As Drake says, “own that shit.”
(I know … I just threw unnecessary shade. But it’s true.)
