As a thank you to fans — while building anticipation for its 2018 Experience festival — BET Networks has announced a new concert event, BETX on the Road: DMV. Wale will headline the first show in the concert series, taking place in Washington, D.C. at the Fillmore Silver Spring on July 26 at 8 p.m.
“We are excited to launch the first BETX on the Road event this summer where it all began for BET — Washington, D.C.,” says Donna Blackman, BET Networks’ senior VP, business operations. “It’s our way of thanking our loyal audience and getting them excited for all the great things to come at the BET Experience in 2018.”
