Metro Boomin has launched his Boominati Worldwide label in partnership with Republic Records and Universal Music Group.
The announcement follows the release of “No Complaints” which is the first release from Boominati Worldwide. In addition to Metro Boomin’s own music, the newly established label plans to issue music from future Boominati Worldwide signings.
“Launching Boominati Worldwide is the next step in my career as a producer, an artist and a businessman,” Metro said in a statement announcing the label. “I created the label to represent a collective of highly gifted individuals who have the shared gift of being able to influence the world through culture and art.”
In the same statement, Republic Records co-founder/CEO Monte Lipman noted, “Metro Boomin is a franchise player who’s captured the imagination of the music community in a very short period of time.
