Did you know there was an alternate ending to the urban classic “Juice?”
Twenty-five years after Juice hit theaters director Ernest R. Dickerson has unveiled the ending that didn’t hit the screen in 1992.
In the original, Bishop (2Pac’s character) gets into a fight with his former friend Q (played by Omar Epps). The two engage in a scuffle on a rooftop and Bishop eventually falls over the side and Q is unable to save him.
In the alternate version Bishop intentionally gets away from his friend’s grip because he hears police sirens and doesn’t want to go to prison. While the filmmakers preferred their original idea, it didn’t sit well with test audiences, who wanted Q to best Bishop.
