Powamekka Café, a Tupac themed pop-up restaurant will be serving dishes envisioned by the late rapper this upcoming week in New York City.
For three days (April 7th-9th), Tupac fans will take a journey back to the late 90’s through Pac’s eyes. The menu will reflect some of Tupac’s favorites, including gumbo, meatloaf, his cousin Jamala’s fried chicken wings, and more. Beyond dishes, Powamekka Café will pay homage to Tupac with a collection of his childhood photos, poetry, and other memorabilia from across his career. The opening also coincides with his induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, which will take place on April 7th at Brooklyn’s Barclays Arena.
