Jeremih is Off the ‘Summer’s Over’ Tour

JeremihWell that was quick … and unfortunate. Jeremih is heading home from the “Summer’s Over” tour with PARTYNEXTDOOR. In a statement released on Sunday morning (Dec. 4), Live Nation confirmed in a statement, that his tenure was over.

“We’ve decided it’s best for the Summer’s Over Tour to continue without Jeremih, effective immediately,” says Live Nation in the statement. “After multiple incidents we are left with no other choice. We do not support these actions or take these actions lightly.” Refunds will be issued to those who wanted to see the “Don’t Tell Em” crooner live, meaning they will have to forfeit their entry into the enter show.

Rumors of issues first arose during the tour’s Chicago stop last week, where Jeremih reportedly slammed his mic down and left the stage after only performing three songs due to technical issues. The problems continued a few nights later in Houston, where fans in attendance claimed Jeremih sent out an imposter to perform as a sign of a protest.

The breaking point happened on Friday night (Dec. 2) in Dallas, when Jeremih publicly dissed PARTYNEXTDOOR on stage and later alleged that pepper spray was put into the smoke machines during his set. “PARTYNEXTDOOR and his crew are some bi**h ass ni**as. Now tell me that. Tell me what I said now?,” said Jeremih. “Y’all better scream for PARTYNEXTDOOR now. Tell him to pay that fake-ass budget they’ve been pressing at night.”
