Kendall Jenner and will.i.am have teamed up to launch a fashionable Bluetooth wireless in-ear headphone called Buttons.
The circular disc in-ear headset — which launched on Wednesday (Nov. 2) — comes in black, grey, rose and gold and claims six-to-eight hours of battery life while playing music and 120+ hours of standby. They are available at Apple stores, as well as Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdales, Browns, Maxfield, Colette, Equinox, FarFetch and Shopspring.
The Black Eyed Peas leader has also teamed with model Naomi Campbell on the machined metal earbuds, meant to mimic the look of a vinyl record, with both models taking a financial stake in the venture as well. The initial run will come with a limited edition mini-magazine styled by Vogue legend Andre Leon Talley and edited by the rapper/producer, who launched a wearable Apple Watch-like device called Puls two years ago. Buttons also come with six different earbud covers and three different in-ear covers to help customize the fit for each user
“If you care about glasses and you buy glasses to go with your wallet and your wallet to go with your watch, your headphones should do the same,” he told Mashable about why he invited Jenner and Campbell to join the project in an effort to reach style-seeking consumers. “[These aren’t] headphones that you buy and put in your pocket.”
The Buttons – which price at $229.95 – uses the same voice assistant, AnnedA, as the Puls, and a microphone that allows you to take phone calls and talk to Siri.
