As President Obama finishes his victory lap as POTUS, he called Sway, Tracy G and Heather B from Sway In the Morning and discussed a number of topics including music, sports and politics.
On music, Obama took time to praise JAY Z and Kendrick Lamar, while also confirming his relationship with Chance The Rapper and his family — from when Chance’s father was an Illinois state senator.
“He’s commercially doing great and [he’s] unbelievably talented” Obama said about Hov. “Jay-Z is still the king, I mean he’s got a track record. Same with Kanye so yeah there’s a lot of talent out there.”
And when asked who had for the 2017 NBA championship, he quickly responded the Warriors. Listen to the entire interview below.
