Following the armed robbery of his wife Kim Kardashian, Kanye West has rescheduled several upcoming dates due to “family concerns.”
This week’s Philadelphia date at Wells Fargo (Oct. 4) and the Palace in Auburn Hills, Detroit (Oct. 6) will now take place on Dec. 13 and Dec. 22, respectively.
Ticketholders can use their original tickets on those dates, promoter Live Nation has announced.
Kim was reportedly tied up and robbed at gunpoint in her Paris hotel on Monday morning (Oct 3). The thieves – said to be five men disguised as police officers — made off with an estimated $9 million in jewelry, including a ring, as well as two cell phones and a wallet containing credit cards.
Ye learned of the situation mid-performance Sunday night (Oct. 2) at Meadows Festival in Queens, New York City. He cut his set short, telling the audience “I’m sorry, family emergency, I have to stop the show.”
Kanye’s Saint Pablo Tour will resume its planned routing this Friday (Oct. 7) at Chicago’s United Center.
