While Miley Cyrus was dressing up as Lil’ Kim, the Queen Bee celebrated Halloween by delivering the first single off her upcoming mixtape Hard Core 2K13. The Queen Bee takes it to the streets on the grimy, dancehall-flavored record.
She explained the message behind her new song, “Dead Gal Walking.” “It’s a very strong, serious record, but at the same time, feel-good,” Kim told MTV News. “There’s a lot of things that can turn you into a dead girl or a dead man walking and nobody wants to be that. So, I guess my message is ‘Don’t become a dead girl or dead man walking. Live your life right.’”
