By now, we know that Joe Budden is in the midst of a little “beef” with Drake. What started as Joe criticizing Views for being uninspiring has evolved in several diss tracks from Joe and a couple of subliminal jabs from Drake. Despite Joe being lyrically strong, his popularity may have been a hurdle when grabbing the ears of the masses. But now … Drake may have found worthy opponent.
Hot 97 dj Ebro revealed on his morning show that when he informed Drake that Eminem (Budden’s label boss) might be leaping into the ring …to which Drizzy responded: “I [Ebro] told Drake that I heard the rumor was Eminem was going to gear up to come after him. He laughed. He was like, ‘That’s not gonna happen.’ He’s like, ‘He’d never do that. And if he did, I got something for him, too.’”
My two-cents: As much as I want this to be true…because I love a good battle … I cant imagine that Em will coming out of hiding just to diss someone. Dude is pretty much a hermit. But if he did…. It would be one of the biggest commercial acts against one of the best lyricists.
