Despite Rita Ora’s lawsuit against Jay Z’s Roc Nation earlier this year and accusations that she may be the infamous “Becky with the good hair” from Beyonce’s Lemonade chronicles, she still credits them as being “good mentors.”
Speaking with Cosmopolitan UK for a new cover story, Ora said, “I’m still happy I’ve had this incredible experience. Jay is one of my idols and Beyonce is obviously the queen of life. I’ll never not appreciate the experience I had with them and the things I’ve seen.”
Rita signed with Roc Nation in 2008 and in 2012 released her debut album, but from there things turned sour with the two entities suing each other over the music she was supposed to release following.
