The latest Suicide Squad soundtrack has dropped – “Standing in the Rain” featuring Action Bronson, Mark Ronson, and the Black Keys’ Dan Auerbach.
The song brings an update of Oran “Juice” Jones’ ’80s classic hit, “The Rain.”
“I just couldn’t believe that Dan, like, was just so cool and was like, ‘Do you mind singing this Oran ‘Juice’ Jones song that you’ve never heard?” Ronson told Zane Lowe. “When I finally got it back, I was like, ‘this is cool.”
The release follows an already impressive string of tracks found on the soundtrack including Skrillex and Rick Ross’ maniacal joint “Purple Lamborghini,” Lil Wayne, Wiz Khalifa, and Ty Dolla $ign’s “Sucker for Pain,” and Kehlani’s raw and haunting contribution, “Gangsta,” which arrived earlier this week.
The Suicide Squad soundtrack hits shelves this Friday (Aug. 5).
